“Three lectures at three locations: this is how the Center for American Studies at the University of Trier celebrates its 15th anniversary this summer semester. Curator Sarah Meister from MoMA in New York and colleague Shelley Rice from New York University, NY will talk about photographs by August Sander, Dorothea Lange, Alfred Stieglitz and Edward Steichen in Trier as well as in Dudelange and Clervaux (Luxembourg). The lectures are also intended to encourage visitors to (re)look at the respective museums and their magnificent exhibitions and collections.”
